Update: received a response from the director of Bike Share. The salient part: It is not our policy to have vans block cycling lanes. In response to your feedback, we have firmly reminded all of our staff members who re-balance our bikes that they should not be blocking bike lanes - ever.
The Bike Share responses have been tepid at best and none of my questions have been addressed. Here is the full exchange minus one follow up (they were super unresponsive)

This article is stupid. They should have put it into wider context. How much pollution is it, and compare it to the top polluters. Telling us it’s like 500 million cars driving makes no sense. Driving for how long? What kinds of cars? They have this throwaway comment at the bottom.

Hey Trevor, I use a few sources for AQI including an app called Local Haze. Guelph only has one sensor (not sure if it normally shows more than one). Here is the current reading. I saw that weather.gc.ca doesn’t have anything for your area at the moment.
Also you see where it says MESSAGES along the bottom? Those aren’t messages. They’re just little mini news items like little stories but they put red notifications on them and mislabel them and I hate it
So with a view like this, you should be able to hit NOW again and be brought back to the top of the screen. But you can’t—you can only scroll back up automatically.
