There I was, minding my own business, washing the dishes - CRASH! I hate summer sometimes! Poor Bushka leaps off the roof. No excuse for this, it wasn't windy but they were drinking beer. Didn't even say sorry. 😡
Artemis 2 space capsule splashes down in the Shropshire Union Canal! They were lucky to miss the trees. All crew are reported safe. Rescue narrowboats have been dispatched and will be there in an hour or two! 😉 #UKCanals #narrowboat #canal #artemis #nasa

I must say it's so kind and thoughtful of the CRT to provide all these extra rubbish disposal points, even if they aren't showing up on the map yet? I've seen quite a few of these now. Those silly old planks weren't doing much in there anyway so good to re-purpose the enclosures. #UKCanals
I just spent an hour or so cleaning my cherry shrimp 🦐 tank. There was so much weed and algae that I couldn't see in there. It was quite a task to remove well over 100 shrimps safely whilst I cleaned. Hopefully they will survive the upheaval? Shrimps can be sensitive to change.
Well it's cooled down a bit and I've moved out of the shade. Got some solar charging again and super fast internet. I might stay here a bit longer than planned? The next video is well under way, should be finished soon...

This could be useful? I don't use my electric bike any more, it's pretty worn out. But the 36 volt battery is still good. This gadget will convert 36v to 12v so I can use the battery as a power bank. It certainly won't solve my power problems in winter but it's silly not to make it available for use
Yes weeping willows are very pretty but this one is totally overhanging the middle of the cut, six inches above the water at its longest. Very lucky there was no one moored too close to it. It would probably do more than gently caress the roof if I had to go through it. #UKCanals

No wind, and gentle rain today so I've put some of my plants out on the back deck so the rain can wash the dust off the leaves. They do get very dusty.

I heard something go twang. Rear brake cable was down to a single strand!
It works! 😃 There's still quite a lot of finishing off jobs to do like removing the old fuel pipes, securing the hoses etc. I'll tackle that tomorrow.. In the process I managed to completely wreck the air ducting, which was very rotten anyway.
