We don't talk enough about the 5'10-5'11" rookie guard in the top 7 for stocks (steal+blocks) among a bunch of older players taller than her by at least 2-3". Just blows my mind.
She's always struggled or just straight out missed the tournament. I just never realized she never won at all.
Look at my favorite player aka the number 1 pick aka a generational shooter sought after by at least 6 top teams this year (and last year too). Despite all her adversity, she still ended up number 5 on UConn's career 3P made with 25-40 less games played and the third fastest rate of scoring them.

Azzi Fudd is three 3P away from 5th career threes at UConn. She's doing this in at least ~ 20-30 games less. She is also 4th in single season threes - 9 away from being #1 at UConn. Shooting 49.5%-45.6%-95.1%. 9 steals and 6 rebounds away from 100 3P/assists/rebounds/steals in one season.

To only concede 33 points directly in 31 games...and this does not account for the turnovers via forcing passes, causing deflections and shot clock violations...
As awards come out and continue to snub Azzi Fudd because people didn't bother to watch even the nonconference games... I will always have the data...What she is doing offensively AND defensively as a guard is INSANE and the level does not drop against top opponents.
Despite all the adversity, Azzi Fudd has moved to number 30 on UConn Career Points, 11 on Single Season 3P Made, and 8 on Career 3P Made. She has done this in less games too (104 so far). 3 regular + 3 conference tournament games + (max 6 NCAA) February form: 23 pts/game & 3.8/6.1 or 62% from 3P.
Tracking this has been fun this season. Azzi Fudd's Career and Single Season Three Point Made (so far in purple) in comparison to other elite UConn three point shooters. If UConn makes the final, her maximum games will be nearly 30 games less than everyone else but she could still end top 5.
