The key images are a muscular arm with a wrapped fist, a figure on one knee aiming a long gun, and orange flowers. At 20”x15” this is the biggest collage I’ve done in quite some time. I got stuck on it and let it sit for a couple of months before finishing it over the past two days. #collageart #analogcollage #cutandpaste #climatechange #environmentalart

The most prominent element is a large eye with a brown iris and gold eye makeup surrounded by mums. A woman’s hands with pointed nails done up in flame and ice colors are posed sinuously. Background images include rocks and rocky landscapes, the burnt innards of Notre Dame, a cityscape, snowy trees, detritus of destroyed housing, a skull, sea foam and sand, water birds, a torch flame, and burning candles. Obviously words on the piece include: warning, heat, you help. Subtle words include: smoke, risk, water.

Doing a @historymadebyus civic wish wall in my neighborhood today.

A little red wagon with a poster board sign in it with a drawing of a birthday cake with 25 candles that says BIRTHDAY WISHES FOR AMERICA. Other text reads: 2026 2076 imagine the United States at 300 years. What’s your wish for the next 50 years? There are sticky notes with people’s wishes written on them stuck to the poster board. Attended a self portrait class where they took and printed a photo of you to start. Had access to colored paper, scissors, glue sticks, and paint pens.

What look like books pop from the page above the figure’s head, emphasized by short red lines. Visited an art gallery. There was a whole herd of bronze squirrels.

About 3 dozen approximately life-sized sculptural squirrels - some of them holding objects like carrots or daffodils - meander down a white wall and across a polished concrete floor.
