I watch movies and tell you my thoughts in writing and on podcasts. Cohost of the Danger Close podcast. For the love of humanity please be kind to one another. 🍅 person. They/Them
Definitely not beating the #adhd allegations with my 3 beverages. Just took a sip from each, water, bodyarmor, then coffee of course. Least flavorful to most.
Thank you @danirabaiotti.bsky.social for the inspo to draw and post this. Gave me that extra little push to finish a piece and post it online for others to enjoy. Or dread? I don’t know but I had a lot of fun making it.
This was my feed for a brief moment and I can't stop giggling at how well it works.
I am melancholic but pleased in the moments when I remember My Old Men. These fuckers were with me since I was 17. They kept me sane and alive. Thank the fucking world for cats.
I have this very nice and very large framed print of Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. I recently got a real office at my job and have a ton of open wall space that I can decorate as I please. My coworker informed me it would not be A Good Look to hang this on the wall but some days..
This is Lucifer, named after the fallen angel from judeo-christian mythology. Lucifer is a sweet himbo. Does he think he's only 4 pounds when he is almost 20? Check Can he only make soft whisper meows that can be both cute or scary? Check Is he actually the Prince of Darkness? Probably
This is Gunter, named after the penguin from Adventure Time. Gunter is rude AF. Wake you up at 4 am chirping and rolling on you? Check. Claw the covers out of the way with no care for your skin so he can hide underneath? Check. Show his butthole on your work zoom calls? Check. He's the best.
Ruthie B has taken to "burying" her no-hide treats in our bed to save for later. She tucks them in between pillows or under blankets. I took these pics and she immediately had to rehide her treats and is now yelling at me with indignant grumblings for disturbing the peace.
I have a guest cat for a few weeks and y'all better believe I am extra excited for these snuggles! He's a sweet little old man with cerebellar hypoplasia who is here to eat those treats and get pets. And he's all out of treats.
I know nothing about most sports, and college sports in particular. So the random appearance of these two skeets is funny to me.
My Ruthie found an old Kong yesterday and is now obsessed with it and will not leave a room unless it comes with her. #dogsofbluesky
"It's port Bob, the fifth essence of the Christmas Spirit" I am 8 minutes into the 1938 A Christmas Carol and it's already amazing. Found this picture and can't wait for what's to come!
Took 3 tries to lay out my yoga mat for stretching tonight. My void floof is determined that this spot is his. He is greatly displeased!
I'm at a party for the first time in years. After digging through a storage closet I pulled together a costume for Rose the Hat from Doctor Sleep.
My pupper is ready for Adorable Dog Summer with a fancy fresh grooming thanks to my friend.
My Cavalier pupper Ruthie B is so relatable. I tossed a toy for her and it landed next to her water bowl. She ran excitedly over then realized she was thirsty and had a drink. Then she walked away, ready to party, before remembering 'Oh shit! There was a toy!' and gamboling back for it.
I love it! One of my cats, Lucifer, pictured below in all his regal glory, gets a modified version of Going Down from Hair.
Trying desperately to get back into cooking and enjoying it. So I bought this! the recipe descriptions, anecdotes, and detail is sumptuous AND simple. And thankfully includes all the little tips that help being a recipe from good to amazing. Exactly what I'm looking for.
A movie that takes place where you're from: This is literally set in my neighborhood.
Finding my love of live music again with Em Beihold at The Green Room in Minneapolis. My daughter's first live show!
My little pupper has decided to give me cute overload. She is cuddled up in the pillow den underneath a table in the living room.
My smallest cat is The Devil. He gets into everything he can, particularly cherry tomatoes (doesn't eat them just pushes the packet on the floor then carries them around), and today he finally met his match in an Aldi bag.
More movies and crafts today. Putting my new found granny square knowledge to good use and making a lap blanket for my ill auntie. Here is the start. Started off with MY COUSIN VINNY (1st time!), and now honoring Val Kilmer with TOMBSTONE (also 1st time!).
Their work is utterly fantastic. I commissioned a piece for my partner a couple Christmas' ago and it is gorgeous and resides in a place of prominence in our house. Support them and get great art, it's a win/win!
My very first completed granny square! We made the long journey to Joanne Fabrics to partake before they close forever. This fluffy chunky yarn called to me and I decided to finally master it. #crochet
