I'm an author from Sonoma County California. I write novellas and short stories. Usually science fiction, horror, and rarely, some dramatic or humorous pieces. I write them; no AI anywhere.
Last chance to get my science fiction novella 'PlayGame' at the discounted price. 99¢ until August 1st. Price will go up after that but I'm also going to move it to Kindle Unlimited so if you're a member you can add it to your reading list. www.amazon.com/PlayGame-Kur...
After years of having Bougainvilleas dying on us we finally learned they require excellent drainage. Potted this one up using cactus potting mix and now it's three years old and doing fantastic. We also wrap it every winter against the cold.
Scored a great deal at the Friends of the Library store. Folks have recommended Octavia Butler for years, and at $1.50, couldn't say no.
Butterflied pork loin stuffed with cream cheese, cheddar, jalapenos, crumbled bacon, and spices. Then rolled and wrapped with bacon and tied. Ready for the oven.
Got my copy! So proud to be included in this new anthology from Murderous Ink Press. www.amazon.com/dp/190949878...
As I get closer to self publishing my Science Fiction story here is a look at the full cover with a teaser and bar code on the back cover.
So next weeks meals are sorted. Chicken breasts with mushrooms in a thyme and marjoram infused cream sauce. There's some onions and chicken stock in there as well.
Don't remember if I posted this before, but last month I captured the sun coming through a frost covered windshield. Looks like a planet from space.
Trying something new. Lasagna with egg wraps instead of pasta as a low carb alternative.
The wife and I had a lovely dinner in San Francisco's Chinatown this evening.
Today I saw an early morning matinee of The Muppet Christmas Carol and it was glorious. My local theater offers these matinees once a month, with free admission.
Just got back from Muppet Christmas Carol on the big screen. Local theater had a special, early morning matinee. Lovely movie and one of the best Dickens adaptations.
Posole, hominy and pork stew with chili sauce and french bread. Late breakfast, so good.
Saw the poster and trailer for this upcoming film at a local theater. Seems timely, given our situation. Good to remind the criminals that they will be held accountable.
Treated myself to an ergonomic keyboard. Hope it helps with wrist pain I've been having.
Found this enormous sculpture on our fair grounds recently. It's large, rising maybe two stories high. Naga, by Cjay Roughgarden and her team.
