i've been spending this summer's Mixup Factory updates answering outstanding questions such as "what should i do with the other 75% of the screen?" and "where are all the bees?"

one detail i neglected to highlight about that Tetris 99 warioware theme is that the garbage is poop
if you're back to tetris 99 and want to know which special themes are worth getting, here are some of my recent favorites: theme 23 (there's a kirby behind there) theme 29 (funny wario, cohesive theming) theme 32 (feels like tetris effect lite) theme 39 (this theme made me want to get dk bananza)

one of my favorite things about Mixup Factory is that you can mash start on bootup and begin a run in under 4 seconds
channeling sakurai with my 2x2 controller test setup for Mixup Factory 4-player (coming later this month) in hindsight, i understand why he uses 4 of the same controller
v0.7.1 of Mixup Factory will add a couple more windows to the UI! #screenshotsaturday firstly, an Awesomes counter that keeps track of how many consecutive Awesome matches made (it's a combo system similar to CROSSNIQ+'s but it grades on 4 criteria) secondly, an alert for upcoming level-up hazards
