Proud of the hundreds of families who packed the Capitol yesterday to speak out against the 4% Medicaid waiver cuts. This shortfall came from our state budget underfunding Medicaid. We must step up and take care of the vulnerable seniors, children, and neighbors who elected us to represent them.

I was proud to file the amendment to our state budget that fully funds SNAP for those who remain on the program. But that doesn't change the reality that tens of thousands of Kentuckians, many of them children and seniors, are now going to bed hungry because of these cruel policies.

Yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled that Americans can’t bring failure-to-warn lawsuits against pesticide corporations in state courts. I spoke against this corporate immunity on the House floor in March, and I’m going to keep fighting for Kentucky families now.
