Ossoff and Cooper blowing their competition out of the water in Georgia and North Carolina respectively should be getting about a million times more coverage than the squeakers we're going to see in the general elections in Wisconsin and Michigan but.....🤷🏼♂️
I like Watson for the Bucks but they should absolutely not be giving up any 1sts for him. It should tell you how trash the market is if the Bucks are the most likely to trade for him.
Damn, gotta flip him now. Can't get called out like that by the possible future governor and still show up.
There it is. Now all that's left to find out is the degree to which they allow Boston to punk them.
As if this couldn't be more embarrassing. Horst needs to finally do it. Say you're resigning if they don't do what you recommend.
Hey maybe all these reports are wrong but it certainly doesn't sound like they plan on flipping Brown. Going off that then, if they're expecting to try to win them why are you trading Turner? I think this roster looks more similar to last year than most want to admit.
Why try to build a team when you can take an expensive shortcut that probably blows up in your face?
It's hard to put into words just how collosally stupid this would be. Yes let's flip one star who doesn't want to play for you and who is in line for a monster contract for another one that is a worse player.
It's starting to seem like they're just going to keep him. Teams didn't think they were serious about trading him at the deadline and it seems like teams think they've gotten even less serious. They thought this big market for him would materialize and it just hasn't.
What's the old adage? If you have two quarterbacks you have none? It feels like if you have a 5 team trade you have a zero team trade.
Not a fan generally but if all this talk about Miami holding stuff back is true this is the exact right response.
Once I saw where he went to school I knew it was a done deal. Every fan can see this coming a mile away but nobody in that front office can?
Like what does this even mean? How do you operate like you expect to have this specific pick? I would hope they've already been talking to guys in that range.
Seems like Giannis does want to go to Miami but this is so qualified as to be hardly noteworthy. I have to imagine Miami is searching for another team to take on Herro and that has been as hard as you'd think.
Well if this is true we finally got Giannis putting his finger on the scale. Cover for Miami to low ball if it comes down to it.
Well isn't that interesting... There's the leverage they were looking for.
Apart from everything about Giannis, you really have to give it to the league for making another rule change that takes the offseason, one the most interesting parts of the NBA, and intentionally makes it way more boring.
I always figured he would end up pulling that lever. If it comes out the he did that and it limited the return that's going to be hard to get over as a fan.
From Amick this morning... Makes me think this is a bit more settled than we would have thought. Gives Miami a little cover to be stingy. I hope they come away with Jakucionas but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they didn't.
Not sure about getting our picks back given the new tanking rules and the fact that the next couple drafts are supposed to stink compared to this one.
