It’s not very American, but making this Peaches and Cream Victorian Sandwich was our holiday project.

Two-layer sponge cake filled and topped with whipped cream and a glossy orange fruit compote, finished with a dusting of powdered sugar and served on a white plate.

We’re visiting Chicago and went to the Yoko Ono exhibit at the MCA. One of the pieces began as a plain white room and visitors are asked to cover the space with messages using blue and white markers. There were at least two messages for Renee Good already.

I know V is talking about nuclear weapons here, but it just as easily could be about the push to adopt genAI into every aspect of our work lives.

I picked up “Tidal Creatures”, the third book in the Alchemical Journey’s series and for some reason they changed the format so that it’s smaller than the first two and has a different cover treatment. I am more irritated by this than I should be.

I picked up Absolute Martian Manhunter on a whim, completely because of the cover art and I am hooked.

I ordered this abbey cake from Jampot after seeing it in the @heavytable.com gift guide and boy does it deliver. It’s basically a very good fruit cake soaked in Bourbon.

I downloaded my Twitter archive before deleting all of my tweets. I went back and read some of my first tweets, and boy are they cringe. I wrote a lot of them in this weird style so they would make sentences like "kyledhebert is eating a sandwich". That wasn't a thing was it?
