So, for about half my life (I’m 52), I wanted to get an angel on my shoulder. In order to be symmetrical, I’d need a demon or devil on the other side - the problem with that being there is no biblical description of demons and I had no favorite until Hazbin. Tattoo time!

I hear ya. My wife gently suggested adding color to my doodles, but I love the purity of the black and white.

Up before even the dandelions 💕

A small pretty flower coming up through last year’s thatch grass alongside this year’s first green blades. The cup shaped flower has striations of lavender and violet, fading to nearly white at the outer edges of the petals are slightly frilled.
The center of the flower is bright orange yellow and heavy with pollen.

Are you KIDDING ME, McDonalds? Yesterday, I got a derpy McFlurry and it came in the cup on the right $6 something. Today, same price, cup on the left. There was no indication of a size change via signs or anything. I am inordinately pissed off by this.

I went as a lamp as a surprise for my wife, who had bought a moth costume. Yes, I made the hat 😁 I hope that you get a smile from it.

It’s like those Jesus-with-random-jobs-and-sports paintings and statuettes!

I think the setting is supposed to be the wreckage of the Twin Towers in NY… though it shows buildings on either side of the painting, so - a third tower?
In any case, the background is billowing ash/smoke/fog.
The foreground is littered with papers, pieces of various construction materials, apples (?!) and two dead firefighters.
None of the subjects are looking at or acknowledging the bodies at their feet. I assume they were godless and therefore deserved a terrorism.

I finally figured out what the grackles and starlings want to eat (suet nuggets) and the kind of feeder they prefer. My morning was started with two European Starlings enjoying their breakfast.

A common/European starling enjoying suet nugget breakfast while another waits patiently for a turn.
Background is a somewhat ratty shed and some out-of-control knotweed in full early-summer glory.

Ooh, I have a cool thing too! It’s maybe not EXACTLY true (I’d say green silver French whittling knife - depending on if they meant the knife was made of French silver or if it was a French knife - and a green Great Dragon is fully possible, but the Royal Order of Adjectives is so interesting!)

So you can have a lovely little old rectangular green French silver whittling knife. But if you mess with that order in the slightest you’ll sound like a maniac. It’s an odd thing that every English speaker uses this list, but almost none of us could write it out. And as size comes before colour, green great dragons can’t exist.

Cheese, even locally produced. This was $5.99 in march, now $9.99. I’m also pretty darn sure it’s not the cheese makers that are getting the extra. I’ve also noticed less cheese varieties available.
