Mystery wood burning smell in my living room was not something I imagined, confirmed with neighbours in the same building. It's funky that my sniffer actually works quite well, that can't have been many parts per million. (no smoke that any of us can tell, so just a mystery)

Do you think we'll get a #BTS Memories 2025? It's iffy to use pre-enlistment data and trends, but they would typically be announced and open for purchase around end of July/beginning of August. I've always appreciated the Memories as one of my absolute favourite bits of content, but idk 🤔

This euro leg of the tour has felt like a mini contained tour in itself, since there is a longer break on either side of it. I'm sad to see them go, but so glad it's been a mostly good experience for them. 🥺 Hope this last concert is the finale everyone deserves!
I'm testing my new spindle. It's been years since I used a drop spindle and I fumbled a little, but this is the process of spinning. I find this bottom whorl a bit harder to navigate than top whorl with a hook, I need to do park and draft rather than continuous drafting. Probably a skill issue 😅
I took a video of it as well. I sew it from the inside, and it's one stitch of wrapping the threads, and one stitch into just the folded hem. On the front side, you can only see the wrapped stitch, but it's nestled on the edge of the holes so it's not really visible. You can feel the bumps tho.
I apologise for the increased volume of sewing posts but like, it's cool, okay? I feel good about this. I precariously filmed myself pulling out threads from the fabric. Tonight I've finally folded and prepared and measured enough to start creating the hole-hem (no clue what that is in eng)

It's been a few days since I worked on this, but still trucking along, after a small moment of crisis last week. The sleeves are sewn, and one is sewn on. Ties have been moved a little, and feel more balanced now. I'll do my original thought and hem it with a bias tape. I'll use a bias tape+ #bts

I think it's actually working, the piece feels a lot stiffer already. And, this second row is a lot easier to stitch since I have the guide from the previous row. The linen I'm using as the interface feels a lot like the counting linen I've used for embroidery previously!
