My Dad. He worked so hard for his family, treated my Mum as an equal (he was born 1918) supported me at a time women still had to fight to be recognized (I was born 1956) & was the kindest, most fun man I have ever known. He has been gone 19 years, 8 months & 28 days outliving his only son..2

I was there in the spring of 2024. There was limited algae buildup and the water was quite lovely.
A week ago my garlic scapes were just barely visible. Now after 25c + daytime temps and nighttime above 10c some are ready for picking now
Some momma nature pictures on this glorious 26c degree day. Spring has properly arrived finally with daytime temps from21 to 30c the next 7 days. Yes I know summer is coming in a few weeks but spring has really not shown up this year. Lol
Not sure what king of hummingbird this is but he/she does love my feeder. Resting often on this finally no wind day. Raining and only 16c but it is sheltered.
It is so cold here again today. Only 6c & drizzle. The hummingbirds visiting their feeder all day. The pic below was on a sunny day Seed feeder & suet feeder are being emptied daily as are my supplies😁. No flowers very few bugs. The birds are hungry & I have to restock on Monday. Happy to do it.
