Happy #PortfolioDay! I'm Laser/Liza - a director with experience at Marvel, Netflix, Paramount, Titmouse, etc. I did some story art for the latest Aang Avatar the Last Airbender film and I'm current polishing up my own OGN, Wayward in colors! I also have a few animation projects on the way ❤️
i'm kinda laughing bc I made a pitch a bit ago that sort of harkened back to this style. As much as I love doing anime inspired work I also love that good good old rendering (with foundations in like old fashion art)
He's voiced by the absolutely perfect and wonderful Jeff Trammell (@jefftrammell), showrunner, writer and creator of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman and overall just amazing talent! Adore Jeff to the sky - it was an utmost pleasure to get to work with him. 🙏
The final character for the Layla pilot is none other than Mr. Jefferson!!! He's just trying to hold it down while the kids drive him insane. #LaylaTLUDG
Justine is voiced by the AMAZING Raven Koné who is an INCREDIBLE writer who also happens to have such an awesome voice too :) The first time I heard her in a scratch sesh I knew i had to get her in the booth for Justine one day >:D
Meet Justine, Andi's best friend!! Unlike the resident scaredy cat, Justine loooovesss things that go bump in the night, and would sooner fall in love with a monster than fear of it - after all her favorite bookmarks (wink wink) seem to go in that direction anyway. #LaylaTLUDG
He's voiced by the absolutely outstanding Anjali Kunapaneni! Who brings the character perfectly and hilariously to life! It was so hard to not completely laugh my way through the many takes.
Meet Andi - he's everything Layla is not! Cautious, methodical and well... a living breathing human! He's essentially the embodiment of generalized anxiety with a litany of phobias, that is only hindered by the appearance of a certain little undead girl... #LaylaTLUDG
She is being voiced by the INCREDIBLE Zehra Fazal (@zehrafazalofficial.bsky.social). Truly knocked it out of the park. Can't wait for you all to hear all her takes.
Today... it's time to meet Lady Empress! She crafted Layla out of Sand as one of her many undead minions who help process our dearly departed.
Perhaps most excitingly... he will be voiced by the one and only @prozdishere.bsky.social !!! It was an absolute joy and honor to get to work with his vocal talents - he really truly brings Poe to wonderful life!
I'm so happy to introduce Poe to the world next! Poe acts as Layla's guardian and mentor (that she rarely listens to) Though he is a stalwart guardian of the rules of death he also carries a deep, begrudging affection for our little reaper. #LaylaTLUDG

As for her voice actor... I will be voicing the little rascal!! I promise the other announcements here will be a tad more exciting, but Layla's always been a voice I've been doing since I've been little. Hopeful to be standing among the pantheon of INCREDIBLE talent (which has been truly humbling)

Like my Zelda boards I also started on a Suikoden 2 board project. I actually stopped once they announced the anime. Never finished this since it was pretty ambitious but learned a lot through the process.
For those that have been following along (thank you!!) #LaylaTLDG just finished up revisions to match the boards better to our incredible voice performances. A little more art to go and then a few more surprises along the way, but still ~SOON~ >:D
I don't tend to post any art from the later pages because ~spoilers~ but i think this section of the book is a personal favorite of mine even though its simple.
Since #OcarinaofTime is still trending, here's some boards i did imagining a feature film for it.
i've been working on a 300+ page middle-graphic novel for Macmillan about monsters and puberty for about five years almost and this should be my last year on the art for it <3 Whole thing is inked and I'm at full colors now, but getting through that process has been daunting! Learned a lot.
I forget if I ever shared my Babs from this. I promise i'll bring back big 80s hair to comics. My one mission.
