I mostly used plastic but had a box of extra dock hardware from when I built my dock. I can't imagine how much that dock hardware would cost now, let alone the lumber to build.

Air Conditioning can't get the temp down in my bedroom so Simba and I are camping out on the couch. It reminded me of some of his tent and tunnels that took over my living room when he was young. Hope his breathing will be better if he closer to the AC.🤞

Simba update: Back to the vet, got his Lepto 💉. Ear infection gone, but he still can't hear. Antibiotic helped a bit with his trachea but if he pulls even a bit while wearing his harness, he has trouble to breathe. Went outside for a bit, but he tires easily. Surgery is risky. Will wait and hope.🤞

Looks similar to my back yard. Had to cut grass all afternoon and everytime I came in for water Simba was giving me an annoyed look. Just remembered it's his first day with no meds, hence no pill pocket today. He's now addicted to pill pockets and not happy when he doesn't get one. 🤣

My little Simba has a collapsing trachea. Yesterday I got him out for a stroll around the yard until he had trouble to breathe. Today he felt well enough to steal my slipper. Little things that I'm enjoying as I know his days are few. 😭

Busy day for me today. Got the snowblower moved into the portable garage. The worst was I have a tree guy coming to deal with my neighbours overhanging tree. I had to move everything out of the way, and she refuses to pay for her drifting trees. Another $1000 gone for me.😭

Was feeling well enough to do a little bit of raking each day the last few days. Front, side and backyard done. It's gotten to be baby steps, I'm just plugging along. Some damage to the junipers and a cedar, but the other 37 cedars survived.😊 Soon it will be time to start cutting all this grass.☹️

I never had issues until the lake rose up that high. Here it is a normal level. The steps you see were 8' high, then there was another 6' up to the house.

My place had a walk in basement. Was nice to bring in wood with the wheelbarrow, but not so nice with flooding. Water was almost up to the main floor joists. Was pretty scary. These were before the house was flooded and totally surrounded.

This is a picture of an old bridge where I used to live. The water at present is near the top of the arch.
