Everyone deserves a roof over their head, a decent education, food on their table, and health care. Chicago area. Dog lover. Cat tolerator.
This is beautiful. I am not an artist or a computer person. I am unfamiliar with the phrase "digitally created art concept and execution." Does that mean you "painted" it digitally on a computer? Used a computer to modify an existing piece of your art? Used AI to create the piece?
97 re-arrests from the pool of 1583 granted pardons = 6.06% crime rate. Incarceration rates per the Cato Institute: - natural born American citizens 1,221/ 100,000 for 1.22%rate. -undocumented migrants 613/100,00 for .61% rate - documented migrants is 319/100,000 = .31%
Stopped at a local bakery with my 4 year old grandson for cupcakes. He tried to talk me into a cake instead. I pointed out that it was no one's birthday, so we wouldnt have anything to put on top of the cake. He came up with the obvious solution.
It's more of a neon green, and has been that way since at least my youth - and my youth was so long ago, I can remember seeing the Beatles on Ed Sullivan.
My 60# poodle would resign himself to the little dog bed when the 15# Havanese co-opred his bed.
My grandfather was (what was then called) a white appliances salesman in Chicago, 1920s through the 1960s. Polk Bros. was his biggest client. I believe their charitable foundation is still active, though the chain closed decades ago.
That looks so good! But if you're doing dogs tonight, consider Wieners Circle
Bob Mackie was the designer genius behind that costume. I liked it so much, my son got me this.
I am indifferent to eggnog, but everyone I love, loves it. Their absolutes favorite is the custard nog made by C.F. Burger Creamery (Detroit, MI). Each season, whoever finds it first texts the location to the rest of the circle. My SIL sent this out last week.
The Superdawg of my youth is the standard I use for hot dog comparisons. Superdawg doesnt have celery salt or fresh tomatoes, but does include a pickled tomato. I have to say that most of the other stands I have been to included fresh tomatoes on my dog.
The Illinois State Police are failing in their mission. They are not preventing the warrantless arrests, kidnappings, assaults, breaking/entering, and destruction of property committed by ICE. ISP reports to Pritzker (Chicago office 312-814-2122). Call and demand that they do better.
Found these growing in my yard a while back. While I don't know that they qualify as bad, they certainly were unexpected.
Made some muffins with Bob's Red Mill egg substitute yesterday. The bag is equivalent to 34 eggs, cost a little under $6. Muffinswere fine.
I had a dog pick this soup can out of the trash, and peel it back to pick out every morsel left in there. No damage at all to his paws or mouth. He trained us well on keeping counters empty and trash secure.
