Democrats are letting us know who is trying to create a better society and who is there to line their own pockets. There is no other reason to be against things like taxing the uber-rich, going after abuses of power, and raising minimum wage.

Doing this would send the almost unprecedented signal to voters and the media that Democrats are less interested in fighting each other than in uniting to pass an agenda that actually improves people’s daily lives. These five positions would signal such a commitment. They should all be completely uncontroversial.

If only they had this kind of fight in them when dealing with the gop, but I guess they, like their counterparts in 1930s Germany, would rather fight progressives than fascists.

redacting the readable bar code and have, therefore, waived any privacy protections that might
have previously applied. A number of media outlets and others were able to read the information
in the bar code and that information has now entered the public domain.
60. While Tuberville has publicly claimed that the Alabama tax returns are evidence
of his Alabama domicile, the returns, and particularly the information contained in the readable
bar code, raise far more questions than they answer. For example, Tuberville’s purported 2018
Alabama return reflects that he had filed an Alabama return in 2017, even though that same
return states that he didn’t move to Alabama until August of 2018. If Tuberville’s purported
2018 tax return allegedly demonstrates residency, why did he file an Alabama tax return in 2017,
before he allegedly became an Alabama resident? In addition, Tuberville’s supposed 2018 and
2019 Alabama returns state that he reported income on his federal tax returns that is not reported
on his Alabama returns.

This is so enraging. So many ppl sit back & let her suffer. It's hard to deny that money wasn't a factor when they made sure they wouldn't have to pay for the ambulance ride so she could get actual treatment. It was heartening to hear that at least 1 doctor is telling the state, "F you. Sue me."

That would make sense, but from my reading, we are blocking ships from Iraq and others, but Iran linked ships are getting out?

Almost all the other ships crossing Hormuz out of the Persian Gulf on Tuesday and Wednesday have links to Iran. At least two have been sanctioned by the US, while others have called at Iranian ports. Most are shuttling between Iranian ports along the waterway and further east in the Gulf of Oman, or are anchoring off ports in Oman itself.

Every time I read about this bill, I learn it's even worse than I thought. Running IDs through a database run by the regime's handpicked idiots?! Fuck all these people.

The legislation would impose proof-of-citizenship requirements to register to vote, require photo ID to cast a ballot in person or by mail, and require states to run voter rolls through a federal database kept by the Department of Homeland Security.
