What’s something simple that made you happy today? Mine is the abundance of color in the flower pot right outside my bedroom window. I look at it everyday, but I don’t always really see it. (And yes, I know it needs deadheading. Don’t always see that either)
My thumb nail has looked like this since the dishwasher incident, and while I am kind of digging the wave design, I end up thinking I have something dirty on my thumb about 10 times a day.
Can anyone give me advice on how to cut off a small part of this that somebody else can replant everything I’ve tried doesn’t work #Gardening #Succulents

Apparently I brought this to Tucson with me in my sneaker, which I have been wearing every day Three days ago.
But sometimes they can be pretty (taken on a recent flight from Sf to Tucson)
just got home from lunch with an old high school friend, who I probably haven't seen for almost 40 years. We spent too much time catching up to say it was just like old times, but it really was.
Charlie does not approve of the man working on the gutters, and wants everyone to know it. It is going to be a long loud day.
Apparently Charlie likes my slippers too, and now my feet are cold.
Three things making me happy today: 1) the lumps they took off the dog last week are all benign 2) The book Circe by Madeline Miller, which I will probably finish today, even though I only started it yesterday 3) my slippers #booksky
Good things so far this year: we had an awesome rainbow yesterday; I have a whole lot of really good albondigas soup; I am about to finish my first book of the year, which means I get to start the Dutch House by Ann Patchett which I am really looking forward to.

Not for nothing, but I have a really cute dog and a really cute cat.
The other day I bought this door stopper at Kohl’s because I needed one, it was on sale, and cute. I haven’t been able to capture it yet, but the dog keeps touching noses with it, as if to check that it is still not real, which is super cute and warms my cold heart
It’s Sunday nap time but I waited too long and now there may not be any space on the bed left for me
