Lee Smiths Workshop

I have a workshop and like to make stuff so expect lots of 3d Printing, PCB design, Retro repairs and lots more. Youtube
Going to print the doors again in the quality orientation, this is just not good enough
Two weeks of printing later and I have almost completed this section of the Impr3za build.
I just printed the last part of the body yesterday and will be building this afternoon. I went for Elegoo rapid petg on the body and Fiberon petg-rcf for the mechanical parts. Also SirayaTech TPU for the tires. All printed on my U1.
have you seen the new Mk1 escorts ? borehammotorworks.com/ford-escort-...
Today I finished the mechanical section of the Impr3za build and it is also controlled from the RC. Next will be the body and I have a lot of parts to print.
first part of the AWD is complete, next is the suspension and steering. (my keyboard is filthy !) I like that part of the print files is the mount to keep everything in place.
One more plate of parts to print and then waiting on the motor to arrive before I can make a start on the first section. These are printed in polymaker Fiberon petg_rcf
I have just started on my most complex #3dprinted project. The Impr3za build from Casadio on @cults3d.bsky.social cults3d.com/en/3d-model/... Currently using the Snapmaker U1 to print PETG-CF with PLA supports for the transmission and only 70 more plates of parts to go !
I am keeping it #commodore with the C64 ultimate, but a big thumbs down to the phone.
I have both colours. They don't have all the 1U keys needed, but a nice rainbow worked well for enter.
Does anyone else play 7 Days To Die ? I really enjoy experimenting with the shapes to see how the zombies path and tweaking the horde base based on what happened the last time.
the dimensions are inside the small lip. I couldn't attach in the DM !
My 2nd attempt at #3dprinting an iron man mask turned out great and this one fits with room for the motors. Printed in Elegoo silk pla and I am super impressed how well it prints without showing dull spots from speed changes
Working on the motorized face plate, but I think this helmet is a fraction too small and the design of the helmet is just not very good with regards to how parts fit together. It feels like it will just fall apart at any moment. However I am super happy with the print quality from the snapmaker U1
Also adding this and the summary lines that are mostly wrong.
That's the last big print finished on the Iron Man helmet. Next is the motorized faceplate parts. Super happy with the quality of the prints from the U1 and the petg supports worked perfectly
So glad I spent the time to get these settings dialled in. The results are so good ! it sticks to the plate so well I can lift the part up and it didn't release, but a quick flex and the PETG just pulls away nice and cleanly.
