When the Ice Age ended 12,000 years ago, much of our sharing ended too. That was our big mistake... My leaflet:

"at our best we at least tried to be" -- Sorry, I don't think so. Nearly all of our presidents have been as greedy as Trump; they just concealed it better.

Some humans are ecologists and climatologists. It would be a step forward if those of us who do not have the training and knowledge of ecologists and climatologists, could recognize the great value of that training and knowledge. If we could step away from the ignorance Asimov described.
I don't think so. "Human nature" is very malleable; different cultures have diffferent "normal" behaviors. Our present culture is a very sick one, in my opinion -- we need to change our culture to a healthier one. We need more friendship, more empathy. Here I side with Arendt, not Musk.
Here is a new essay, a little shorter than the one I've been promoting for the last few months. This one fits on one side of 1/2 page.
I could be mistaken, but I think land theft can be motivated by greed, or even beauty. One can be indifferent to the victims one is removing; one doesn't need to hate them. Manifest Destiny was seen as beautiful by the "settlers."
This coming Saturday is the No Kings demonstration in most cities. You can shop for a costume between now and then. If you want to be REALLY badass, print out some leaflets before Saturday, and try to hand them out. That's what I'll be doing.
Kindness would be a big improvement over what we have now. I need to see this movie soon -- I've read good things about it.

The sign that I wore is copied below. I did manage to unload a few leaflets. After a while I got tired, and so I started saying "does anyone want some commie propaganda?" After that the leaflets went very quickly, and I soon ran out of leaflets. I'll bring more next time.
