I don't know what you want me to say. The government literally legislated the state pension in 1946 as a state benefit. Housewives weren't exempted because of an archaic rule, they were deliberately considered given how many women didn't have access to employment in 1946.

140. We welcome the clarification and extension of protection against discrimination in the area of service delivery and the performance of public functions. We also welcome the provisions of the Bill that permit separate or single-sex services in certain carefully delineated circumstances. We consider that separate provision is not incompatible with human rights standards and may indeed be necessary to ensure compliance with these standards in certain circumstances. For example, the provision of separate services for women may be necessary to ensure respect for the human dignity of older persons and victims of domestic violence. However, we also note the importance of the conditions imposed by Part 6 of Schedule 3 as to when such separate service provision will be lawful. These conditions are an important safeguard against abuse of the possibility of separate service provision and in particular the unjustified exclusion of transsexual persons from single-sex services directed at persons who share their acquired gender.

For many years, M&S has in the vast majority of stores provided unisex spaces which have individual cubicles secured with a lock from the inside. A colleague is usually on hand to provide assistance if required. This has not changed as a result of the Supreme Court or High Court rulings you refer to.

Most of our fitting room spaces have long been signposted to customers with a generic 'Fitting Rooms' sign and not, as you wrongly suggest, with individual signage for women or men. The new 'Try On' signage is not a change of policy, it is simply part of a wider store redesign and updates the existing "Fitting Rooms' signage in stores we are refreshing.

It's the people of colour stats that concern me, and they show not only institutional transphobia, but also highlight continued institutional racism - something the NHS has been aware of, and supposedly fixing, for years now. The NHS remains a danger to all people of colour no matter what.

Of those that experienced transphobia or poor care from their GP, 60% had been refused non-transition related care because of being trans. People of Colour were nearly 50% more likely to report having been refused healthcare that was not related to medical transition
