Happy Father’s Day! This is one of those holidays that we mostly ignore in my household. In 2020, both my Dad and my FIL passed away 3 days apart, the week before Father’s Day. My husband died in 2014. This is our 12th Father’s Day w/out him. We remember them all, and are grateful for the love.

My beautiful, kind, and loving mother passed away this past week. She was the best kind of mother, always so encouraging and supportive. I am so sad she is gone, but I am grateful that she is free from suffering. It’s heartbreaking to watch your parents decline. Rest in peace, Mommy.
