I'm currently working on Cleo the Bengal Ranger from Cats and Catacombs. I'm a slow painter but I enjoy it.

Saturday morning grocery pickup wth Felix.

We've been really lucky with Felix. I've had allergy shots, but never thought i could own a cat. We bought him from a breeder who claimed to breed hypoallergenic Russian Blue kittens. That seems to be at least partially true. I react a little to him, but not as much as I do to other cats.

We love going to Wheelers because you get bottomless (real!) maple syrup. 🍁

My plate of maple sausages, a slice of French toast, a massive pancake, and an orange slice. I've added butter but no syrup (yet!)

It's possible to measure distance as the crow flies, although it doesn't seem to be possible on my phone while looking at driving directions. After selecting a location, there is a measure distance option near the bottom.

Felix the Russian Blue is being held by my wife like a little baby while being fed a Churu treat. I took the photo right after finishing his claws. You can see white bits of his claw clippings on his fuzzy belly.

My wife and I were surprised at how large it was. From cartoons, I expected it to be tiny. :-) It's the only one I've ever seen. (And my mistake: it was on Amherst Island, not Wolfe Island).

As on every Remembrance Day I'm remembering my late Grandpa Joe who fought as a tank driver in the Governor General's Foot Guards during WWII.

On our honeymoon in Paris 20 years ago, my wife (the art history major) made sure we went to Sainte Chapelle. Definitely a highlight!

You missed the El Yucateco Kutbil-Ik. I saw it recommended here on Bluesky, and it's the first hot sauce I've ever had to buy more of because I finished the bottle.
