I got this train set today, Tri-ang Railways Remembered: RS9 'Intercity Express'.

A boxed Hornby train set, the Tri-ang Railways Remembered: RS9 'Intercity Express' set. It has a lovely hand drawn boxart of a train of Pullman coaches pulled by a Class 37 diesel locomotive in BR green.

As promised in this thread, photos! 1st photo shows some size comparisons 2nd is the filing down on the leg/body connection point 3rd is the plasticard. 1.5mm (roughly) thick with some extra bits of plasticard to help glue contact Final photo shows the position of the armour plates on the legs

This is the locomotive. Very generic, not sure if it's based on an actual prototype. One side says Triang Railways with the anniversary date and the other days Hornby Railways with a 50th text and dates.

A generic looking locomotive coloured in red and black with the text "Triang Railways" and "1952 70th 2022". The loco has the number 22 below the coal bunker.

I did it! Used a lieutenant as the basis, with parts from Sternguard & Vanguard veterans, random pistol holster and the two old Ultramarine upgrade sets. Base is some Void War bases parts.
