Playing some Warhammer Age of Sigmar Spearhead games lately has just reminded me how much I love this mode of the game. It’s fast, tactical, and aimed more at my casual heart. It’s just a joy!

Just finished the Hive audiobook by Dan Abnett. Wow. What an amazing experience. If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend it. Especially if you like “civilian” 40K. #nerdlings #warhammer

At Black Cat Ice Cream in Des Moines, IA. You probably won’t believe me, but honestly it wasn’t bad at all. Weird, but I didn’t hate it. I love this place. It’s right next to the downtown library, too. #desmoines

A Salvationist for the cause. I changed up her colour scheme a bit from the box art. Thought she looked a little too sinister in black and red.

The cheeky little assassin is done. Not my fave in the kit but I think he turned out okay. Fast to paint.

A Conflagrator knocked out pretty fast. Love this model and that head.

Thinking about doing a Destrier as an evolution of the Queen Bee Knight. Shiny new version but with the same black and gold color scheme with hex-pattern details. Just a thought

Snowed in today. No #tanksgiving. So I guess we put up the tree instead!

I recently moved to a new city. My hobby stuff has been packed up for probably six months. I just now got my desk mostly set up. I can FINALLY get back to work and I couldn’t be happier about it. Now I have to finish up a project before Tanksgiving this coming Saturday. Woo!

In case my British friends aren’t aware this is real, we went to Bass Pro Shops yesterday for my son’s birthday. It was fascinating.
