Despite a lack of hard evidence, Gilfoyle was convicted of Paula's murder, serving 18 years. Two Appeal Court appearances and one Criminal Cases Review Commission inquiry upheld this conviction. Nevertheless, he and his family have always maintained his innocence. ⬇️
