Senior year and the final cross country season are getting underway, with the mid-summer alumni 3k fun race.

Settling in for "fat ham", a retelling of Hamlet placed in the modern American South. We heard about The Black Rep at @ethicalstl.org this morning and want to support this vital institution (and get our theater on).
We have a peach tree that produces a lot, but that the squirrels feast on. We put nets around the branches to keep squirrels out. But a snake apparently tried to get some peaches. And strangled itself in the netting. This is not what my wife was trying to harvest...

Matthew's Junior year track season is over. He ran the 1600 and the 800, missing his PR in the 1600 by only a couple seconds. Next: cheering his teammates at District and State, and then on to Senior year Cross Country!
