Since you bumped this, I did find it in it's box in the meantime, and remembered why I didn't like it: they moved the C button to one of the shoulder buttons.

It's hard not to imagine Pardon the Intrusion, I'm Home! as the version some coked out exec would come up with after thinking "we must make an whole sitcom out of this". Disappointing.

(ep 12) One of my big ideas for a fallout game is becoming so infamous as a wastelands slayer those factions instead of sending people trying to kill you, if their patrols see you on the distance they just run, and should you attack their base, you have to get in stealthily or else they’ll lock themselves inside. Sure, doing a one-man siege will eventually kill them, but how long that may take, that’s still a lot longer than the 10 minutes it would take otherwise. Anyway, more guys talking a big game at the end of the episode who then are completely wiped out in the first few minutes. This one even got the privilege of being hit with the specials moves from Kenshiro and Rei.

Did a quick search, and found a TVGuia from around that time or archive.org, and yes, it's on the Saturday cartoon block from 8am-1pm, but no specifics. They Live and The Crazies as late cinema double header btw. Also, next page has Saint Seiya on the Sunday block.
