I learned something new today! This bush, at the end of my driveway, is called a Japanese Quince, & it produces fruit! You have to cook the fruit due to the acidity, but now I want to see what it's like when it ripens in a few months! Lived here 4 years and had no idea this was a thing!

This little nougat of deliciousness stopped by my booth today. 😍 She's been at the shelter for a year. I gave her a new bow to try and catch more attention. She is just the sweetest girl, but isn't a fan of kitties or birds, so she's having a harder time getting adopted. Look at her smile though! 🥰

We went from freezing winter temps to scorching heat and drought this year, so I didn't get my usual wildflower pics with pollinators. Stressed my pear tree out that it started bearing fruit for the first time in 3 years since I planted it. I was so excited to see it fruiting though.

Grooming day for this monster. Don't let the bows & beads fool you. She is as far from a girlie dog as one can get. She was absolutely filthy from rolling around in mud. We can make poodles look fabulous, but we can't change what they really are - outdoorsy field and river dogs. #dogsofbluesky

I planted this pear tree about 4 yrs ago. I didn't know what I was doing. I just put it in the ground & hoped for the best. I was just content to let it do its thing. My dog sniffed out the VERY FIRST EVER PEAR it has produced today!!! I would have never even noticed if it weren't for him!! 🤯

Ugh. I left Florida to escape triple index temps! WTH Virginia?! 🥵 It's forced me to clean out the dog's pool and fill it up though, so Tilly isn't complaining at all! 😂

Had to give my poodle a bath today because she thinks 'Ode to the Outdoors' is a signature scent. She's been chewing on her ears lately so I cut about 3 inches off. It's not the perfect groom, but it will do for now. She was a PITA for grooming today.

So I make dogwear (bandanas, bow ties, collars, etc), and a few markets ago I had someone buy a collar/bow tie combo for their goat. Today, they sent me a picture! 😍 BEHOLD! The very dapper, Toby the GOAT!!! 💙🐐

This was my boy, Domi (named after Tie Domi of the Toronto Maple Leafs). I thought it would be a fitting name for an English Mastiff, but he was the sweetest, most loving goober ever. The only thing he enforced was dinner time. We lost him to cancer at 10.5 years old, 8 years ago. I still miss him.

I had a customer reach out to see if I could make a doggy treat bag that I had sold out of last year. I had *just enough* popcorn fabric left over to make her a surprise bow tie too. I can't wait to see her dog wearing this. 🍿

I tried in the beginning. 2 miles was his max. He is much happier as a couch potato. I do run with my other Standard Poodle. She's been running with me for 6 years (she's 8 now) and shows no signs of slowing down. This is her medal wall in my gym.

5 years ago we officially adopted our foster boy. It took 9 months to medically clear him for adoption. Spent his first 5 years as a puppy mill stud dog. Spent every minute since being rescued living his best life. 💙🐩 #DogsofBluesky

I'm sorry for your loss. 💔 It will be 2 years in June since I lost my kitty to cancer at 7 years old. I'm still not ready for another cat. I just don't think another cat would rule my pack of dogs like my boy Finn did.

That time they wanted to eject my kid from the game for this hit, & the coach stood up for him. He got to keep playing. My kid was always a head taller than the other kids his age. The other kid was fine, by the way. My kid was hip checking though (not allowed) and he did get a penalty for it.
