MineMogul ⭐⭐⭐ This was exactly as deep as it needed to be to *really* hook me for a few days but after I exhausted that build, I haven't felt the need to return... maybe ever. +: top tier conveyors, even if the grid is restrictive -: tedious rebuilds, mine too big/uninteresting
Rabbit and Steel ⭐⭐⭐⭐(⭐) I finally got around to playing this with raidmates on a night our static fell through and it was great, I love it. I'd held off until I could play it as a group originally, but it's still good solo. +: Very fun. Rabbits. Raiding. -: Difficulty spikes a bit too high, imo
Arc Raiders ⭐⭐⭐(⭐) A game I played a lot until I didn't play it anymore. I didn't think I liked extraction shooters before it and I'm still pretty sure I don't really like them now. +: I liked the idea -: Felt pointless? I don't think you could purposely design a game more fit for assholes.
Really hope this stays locked in at a 75 for nDPS tonight. Feels kinda nice to be purple in a savage fight.
Metaphor: ReFantazio ⭐⭐(⭐) Suffers primarily from being a mediocre fantasy RPG with some potential that's painfully mangled into the shape of a Persona. +: Gallica. I like fairies. -: The characters didn't seem to be following the story from the start even a little.
Mashle (S1-2) ⭐⭐(⭐) Friend had me watch more claiming it gets better, and it does. It's still not very good. Do all parody action anime just become a normal action anime, but Not-Goku is a joke? This doesn't even keep that up, becoming one that just can't decide how serious it is.
Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom ⭐(⭐) Overlord is a show I went from liking to probably hating and, at the very least, there's less of what I hate about it here. But it's still not good and I still don't like it.
Scrubs (2026) ⭐⭐⭐(⭐) Scrubs is/was one of my favorite shows and *had* a great ending. They brought it back and... it's fine. Probably around median episode quality overall. If this is all they brought it back for, that sucks. If there's more, that's fine. +: More Scrubs! -: More Scrubs?
Oshi No Ko Season 3 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall still really liked it, even if I know where it's going. It's almost freeing to not have to be anxious about if it will, lol. Feels like it sometimes spends too much time with "how the industry works!" instead of focusing on the characters where it shines.
Sentenced to be a Hero ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Always a fan of the main duo dynamic and was genuinely interesting until the last episode. +: The cast with standouts in the goddess and the king -: I generally don't like this brand of big action scenes and this one did not change my mind
Kaguya-same Love is War: Stairway to Adulthood ⭐⭐⭐(⭐)? I'm a bit miffed that we got a clipshow to put it to rest, but it's interesting to hear about the brand new project. Plus it was nice to see at least some of the good manga moments animated.
Spy x Family Season 3 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I really could've done without the Loid's Backstory episodes, but otherwise the series maintained being real good. I like my comedies having a serious side but it was like two episodes that just fleshed out a thing we already know.
Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable ⭐⭐⭐ We have My Dress Up Darling at home. The wonky animation mixed with the dub cast trying so hard to land some sort of mid-western/canadian accent were all highlights as the author tries to fanservice propagandize his home(?) region of Japan.
Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair ⭐⭐⭐(⭐) Vibes were a little off, but had some really great moments. Seemed as much fun for the fans as for the cast, too. +: Cast and writing still got it. -: Green screening, some of those sets, hilarious bit ruined by just awful software-default effects
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End S2 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This feels weird in that Frieren is one of my favorite series, but I can't say this was one of my favorite seasons of anime, but I still really liked it. +: Because that's what Miss Frieren would do, Frieren being back at all. -: Revolte felt dragged out
Breaking Bad ⭐⭐⭐⭐ That was some good television. I bet it was real fun to talk about at the watercooler when no one knew what would happen next week/season.
Madeluna had an idea for M10S. Instead of 1, why not 2? Maybe I'm "ranged DPS that keeps dying to 300k unavoidable damage while the healers are both out of range" biased but, like, it's such a big oversight? And, like, I'm sure "skill issue" or whatever, but come on this one's obvious.
Redline (2009) ⭐⭐⭐ Hella rad and fun and that's kinda it. Not quite hella rad and fun *enough* to be something I think everyone needs to see. + : Some real fun animation, aliens, and bits of silly worldbuilding - : the plot's an excuse for the animation which, fair enough, but still pretty bland
I still reaaaally don't understand this. What the hell do people see in it? It's got like a handful of good ideas and the rest of it is just so mediocre. Is it just that it's Atlus? Is this like "no Zelda game could get below a nine" or something?
