#OutfitOfTheDay #OotD Yesterday’s experiment was a success. However, I am not doing that two days in a row. Back to “brighter” colors for me due to the heat. I am also showing off the bucket hat I may use for more days out when I don’t ride a bike. Having it be adjustable helps a lot for my head.

Switched to a bucket hat for additional protection. The beanie goes back on if I ride my bike.

#OutfitOfTheDay #OotD How do folks handle wearing mostly black in the summer and not feel it too much? I will experiment with this ALDI black dress until at least 2 PM today as a test. Depending on other activities/plans, I may switch to the tie dye dress later. Glad I have backup plans for today.

The rules say to get home: I am wet. Oh well: I was able to have some of my bike ride. Will probably load a DK 64 Rando seed in about 30 minutes as long as power is not lost.

The local block party and free market is helping my spirits more than expected. Even if it rains in a few hours, it should hopefully be alright. Plus, food is free and great.

#OutfitOfTheDay #OotD May as well turn an accident into a fashion piece. This khaki skirt feels like it is an Extra Large size but still fits me decently due to the elastic back. I preferred the Large size since it felt more snug but with the heat wave I have to be more flexible with my preferences.

Full disclosure: I am showing my knee in this picture. If you insist on modesty this post isn’t for you. I ordered some skirts but in practically the opposite colors. I already know a refund or exchange is not likely to happen. If the sizes are compatible, think I can pull off khaki or white/ivory?

#OutfitOfTheDay #OotD The outfit is fine. The mugginess outside is not. Glad my patio is shaded by the floor above, but I recommend staying indoors when possible. Already drinking more water.

I had my fun at Twin Cities Pride. Not sure about the Emergency Ride tonight: low on spoons and energy. Heck, may consider earlier than normal sleep. With the incoming heat wave I think I will need it. Fortunately, the bus line will let me complete all of my few remaining errands for the evening.

Posting about the Ride with Pride bus while the Klobuchar contingency passes behind me. Hopefully by the time I get this whole message posted that they get through and I can watch the rest of the parade in relative peace. No clue how long I can delay this though. At the same time…think it is safe.
