Look at a different Exeter ward. Steve Race criticizes "Green propaganda" for letting Reform win in Priory, so he must also be saying "Labour propaganda" let Reform win in Mincinglake & Whipton. Vote Labour; get Reform! It's not about "propaganda". It's a flawed, unfair electoral system. 4 / 7

In Exeter, Labour pushed hard on the message that it was neck-and-neck between Labour and Reform. "Vote Green; get Reform" they said. In the event, the Greens won big. Reform came fourth.

Rubbish. Multiple parties in contention under FPTP rapidly revert to two parties in contention. Multi-party democracy depends on electoral reform.

Labour keep telling me that if I don't vote for Labour, it'll be my fault if Reform wins. And every time I think "You're telling me the voting system is bonkers but you won't do anything about it. How is that not your fault?"
Meanwhile the entirety of Labour's message is "Only Labour can stop Reform". (Predictably, both the graph and the 72 votes stat are misleading, for various reasons)
Interesting that in the week before the local elections, the Tories believe that the Mandelson affair has greater cut-through than (say) housing, local infrastructure, social care, waste, libraries, or planning.
