This is my favorite tree for 23 years. A true story of survival! I n spite of weather and cattle using it as a scratching post. It’s at the top of a small hill near the road. I’m older now and appreciate the fact that as gnarly as it is, it still survives.

going to try again. This female Cardinal has been visiting my makeshift feeding station. Filling up her beak and flying away. This time she brought her baby with her and they stayed long enough for me to video the visit!

At first I thought this was a dog. I’ve never heard a turkey making this noise before. Avian influenza has killed most of the turkeys who used to frequent our orchar. I haven’t seen one for months. I hope she’s okay.

Starting my day with the Cardinals! The Kentucky Cardinals are getting used to me, especially the female. She seems to prefer the pottery bowl. I don’t have the fancy feeders, but these little bowls seem to work.

I call her Elsie, she’s the one with a pink heart on her nose. She’s the only cat I have had in my life that likes her belly rubbed!

Seriously, what is going on with his face at his eye brow. It looks like he glued an eyebrow on his face.
