Cosmogony, Day 18. The air is poison, the salad is poison. Today: farmers' market for vegetables that we will clean and cook thoroughly. This evening: blessed rain to wash the air. Keep creating.
Cosmogony, Day 16. Since a chunk of today will be set aside for a movie, I will just focus on the basics of the new habits I'm hoping to establish, get my work done, then go see if John Leguizamo's EUMAEUS lives up to my anticipation! Excited about this!
Cosmogony, Day 15. Oof. The nightmares were intense after reading On Repentance and Repair.
Cosmogony, Day 14. There is an item on my must-do list that I have been avoiding for days. I will do what I can to outwit myself and do it. Not doing it is not an option. Wish me luck.
Cosmogony, Day 13. I'm going to pretend I'm at a spa today. One where I get to (come on, self) do some movement work. And eat healthy, fresh, delicious food. And clean and do laundry. Ahhh.
Cosmogony, Day 12. It feels good to be able to start this book after more than three years on my TBR list. Has anyone read this? What did you think?
Cosmogony, Day 11. Loved this beautiful library book. Will get back into quilting when I've cleared enough workspace.
Cosmogony, Day 10. Going to try to trick myself by moving to-do items to tomorrow's list and telling myself if I get them done today, I'll be giving myself a head start.
Cosmogony, Day 9. Reminding myself I do not have to apply to craft shows or enter contests. It's okay to let opportunities go.
Cosmogony, Day 8. Modest though my changes have been, after one week, I notice less discomfort going down stairs. Which is good because our house has a lot of them.
Cosmogony, Day 6. Today is the day I go decaf again! I was startled to realize that I only began drinking caffeine 22 years and 2.5 weeks ago. It feels like coffee was always in my life, but it wasn't. I can do this!
Cosmogony, Day 5. It remains true of me that I can only do One Thing at a Time, and my self-improvement projects take a lot out of me. Today's strategy: get those things done before 9 AM and spend the rest of the day focused on work with a free conscience.
Cosmogony, Day 4. Surprised to realize that better sleep, once I'm no longer tied to a schoolparent schedule, might actually improve my health issues on every single front. I hadn't really thought about it that way until now.
Cosmogony, Day 3. I realized today that switching out of Parenting mode means switching out of Maintenance rather than progress. It was more important to me to maintain reliable routine than to get stuff done. I hoped that would provide household security. But now I can do more than maintenance.
Cosmogony, Day 2. An emergency derailed me so much I couldn't work on some challenges I set myself, so I tackled something else from my to-do list. A good reminder that I need extra energy to undertake chores that fill me with dread. Okay. So that's real.
Cosmogony, Day 1. The things I always meant to do someday? Someday begins today.
Last hatching for the June pride fundraiser for Trans Masculine Advocacy Network! I take the display down this evening. Fingers crossed we get a last few sales!
Second-to-last hatching for the Pride month fundraiser for Trans Masculine Advocacy Network. We've raised about $1450 so far. Really wondering if we're going to make it to $1500! Which is about $1200 more than I expected.
Hi, @murduck.bsky.social ! The pomegranate that is closest to the pencil is the one I made following your preference for shorter green limbs and larger eyes. Does this one want to come live with you? Or any or all of the other three pomegranates in the photo?
