Speaking of "new Ghost In The Shell", I feel like not many people know there's a v2.0 of the original movie. It's *NOT* the sequel (GitS II Innocence), it's a remastered (with new and updated CGI) version of the original, literally called "Ghost In The Shell 2.0".

I'd like to offer 2 suggestions: CLAYMORE: Not just one, but several BAMFs - female warriors who fight monsters. There is (arguably) *some* lesbian subtext. SEIREI NO MORIBITO: A skilled lancer sees herself embroiled in larger-than-life events after she saves a young prince. Implied love interest.

Reminds me of that scene from the anime "Sousou no Frieren", where a demon girl (whose live had been spared) has killed the village chief and is holding his daughter is her arms, and she says something like "It seems I have made a mistake". 😅
