His transformation of Labour wasn’t popular - that confuses anti-Tory with pro-Starmer. He also helped rollback LGBTQ rights and cut support for disabled people, which has been cut by successive govts already, all whilst leaning into Reform’s racist rhetoric. This is far too kind.

Given all that he faced, historians might be impressed with what Starmer achieved. I’ve had encephalitis & pancreatic encephalopathy multiple times & I’ve had these tests performed. They’re only “high difficulty” when you have a cognitive impairment. They’re something a 5yo could do otherwise. No doctor would have described the results like this.

But why is there even talk of a ban? The demonstrations would not need to be policed for hate speech if they were genuinely self-policed. Such a move should come naturally. It’s a good bet that every single person on those protests would call themselves a proud anti-racist. Indeed, they would say that’s a big part of why they’re there in the first place. Surely, then, they would want to be free of even the hint of racism. And yet organisers have never once approached mainstream Jewish groups, seeking guidance on how they might tackle this problem. (Doubtless, the march organisers will have talked to the “Jewish bloc” who go on these demonstrations, but getting a clean bill of health from those who already agree with you is not quite the same thing.)

This feels like someone wants to make an excuse to keep smoking weed and drinking alcohol. If a pattern emerges between doing x & having seizures, then yes, they trigger them. I can’t smoke weed or drink without seizures. It sucks but that’s life.

I’m sick of saying things we eat or smoke, or drink cause seizures. That doesn’t cause anything it may trigger events. But didn’t cause it. I believe medications I was prescribed caused my seizures. It caused me to loose my hearing when I took atarax for a skin condition. When my began I was sleeping. So maybe my dreams caused them. Lol
