Good governance should objectively and quantifiably work to achieve the best outcomes possible for the most people possible. This isn’t that.

Another timeline cleanse - morning dog walk in the countryside on another fine day.

Half a U-turn creates a two-tiered benefits system that is destined to cause all sorts of unjust disparities, as well as leaving many insufficiently supported in the future. This is morally indefensible with the UK being one of the world's wealthiest countries, & the wealthy getting wealthier.

Had a #hedgehog foraging in the garden today. I thought they were nocturnal, but it seemed quite happy digging slugs out of the ground. I put a dish of water out as it has been dry for quite a while & there’s very little standing water about. It went straight to it and drank for a couple of minutes.

If you think of the air that you breathe as part of your diet - what you consume, you wouldn’t choose to consume contaminated water or food, so why would you consume contaminated air? Wearing a good quality mask (N95/FFP2 or better respirator) in shared air is the simplest way to breathe cleaner air
