Kind of tired of making profiles. Me: she/they, old, sometime writer: babushka to a promising goblin. If we'd done as I said we'd not be in such a fucking mess. Avatar alt text: white babushka in a purple babushka. Banner: cement ship, Aptos
I think I have a high loas of covid virus because that second red line showed up really fast.
A person has to constantly & willfully look away from boys & men to believe this. My firstborn didn't give a bottle to a baby doll but you should have seen him swaddling his High Hopping Hoomdorm & building it a wee nest & feeding it with little toy foods, crooning all the while.
News from Loughborough this morning: a frog stack was found by the old Roman bridge on the way to the bluebell woods.
This is easy, because in choosing 3 great albums in any decade since the 1970s, one can always just look up what Muszikas was doing in that decade.
I think these guys are really cute-I have no idea what species they are- but I found them here in Central Coast California a while back
I found this in my liquor cabinet, handed down to me by my sister-in-law from her late mother's stash, originally bought by her father, I guess. I also guess that means this year's fruitcakes are going to be literal heirlooms? It's pretty good sweet wine, I kinda wish I could still tolerate alcohol
Something Halloween but not scary: two small dogs & a bit of decoration
Late October on the Central Coast. Indications of why the Anna's hummingbirds no longer migrate in the winter. Yes, it will be like this all winter. The rainy season is inspiring to certain garden plants even if they are neglected.
Are you supposed to use the battlebeast toys as the figures for this game?
So in case you've noticed I refer to this child as my grandgoblin, & in case you were wondering why I don't call them a grandchild like a normal person, here is an example of why. It's like this all of the time around here.
My father at the park with his statue twin about 20 years ago... I mean, the one wearing clothes: he put his glasses on the statue
So we're supposed to post the most recent picture of ourselves from our camera roll, no cheating: good thing nobody specified faces, because this is what I got:
Anybody recognize this caterpillar? Found Central Coast California, under oxalis & beach aster & nasturtium, over apple roots
Okay so when I planted this tree 47 years ago it bloomed in mid May. The buds opened on March 29 this year. It still seems to take till November to ripen though. And my Satsuma plum tree, about the same age, still blooms in late January through early March like it always has. I don't know.
"If you see this, quote post with a photo of a beach from your gallery." Well. Sometimes there's a beach there (alt text explains a lot):
What if we kissed at sunset, under the cormorant tree at Pleasure Point?
Here's a doofus who just came here to fight libs because they can't find enough action at home.
Although in general I do think we have a tad too many "this is how blocking works here & this is why it is wonderful" posts right now. I don't intend to add any more to the huge pile of them. Here, have a picture of a couple of goofy little old ladies:
I don't have a baby picture of Abby, but here's Žluta destroying a water bottle I had hoped she would drnk nicely from on long walks.
Black Dog Day? Anyway she was almost a black dog. Her name was Truffle, and she was The Dog of Joy. The Dog of Love was all black but she lived before I had digital photos. (Why do we still call special days Nationalwhen we live international lives?)
Repost first crush, etc. (I wanted to be the guy on the left but had real dreams about jumping into the arms of the guy on the right-from a pickup truck bed of course) (I had a cowboy hat & Hopalong Cassidy crayons) I liked that they professed to venuality & cowardice but championed the innocent.
