Many of us new this was coming in the 1970s. Some of us have been working to find NEW solutions and virtually everyone, from governments, UN, Industry, and the billionaires to THE ENVIRONMENTALISTS - have blocked funding for research on new solutions. So we've been doing it on our own dime.

Two years ago, any online search would give you the data - then the billionaires' AIs started censoring the searches. Their AIs also started blanketing scientific publications with "there's never been an extinction due to oxygen depletion." Fortunately the old, paper books are still there.

One of the books which helped me was Todd Kashdan's Art of Insubordination. It's about what forms of action ACTUALLY WORK based on read outcomes data. Kashdan has a section blaming modern psychotherapy techniques, and he has a PhD in psych. He points out that therapy is about avoiding distress.
