Had a great time with Mortal Shell 2, it has some problems (a lot of them being balance issues) but otherwise it's a great entry to the Souls-like pantheon that you should try out. 7/10 currently but with a few balance passes and small tweaks to certain game systems it can easily jump up to an 8/10
Replayed Halo CE because Campaign Evolved pisses me off so much (Anniversary sucks too but it's just easier to play the MCC version) because 343 doesnt understand what makes CE such a masterpiece. The OG still holds up fine and is a 10/10 experience and everyone should experience it at least once.
My FFXIV character is probably my closest thing to an OC I have, but her name is Ophelia Rath and has seen some shit. Her eye has been fucked up from youth because a Chocobo kicked the shit out of her. It's still semi-functional but she prefers to cover it up so she can concentrate with her good eye
Totally forgot to post that I replayed Dragons Dogma 2 in anticipation of the DLC (and the Title Updates) and had a blast once again, there's no game that feels quite like it and its just a goofy ass time to run around in and highly reccomend everyone try it out at least once. 9/10
Time for the P4G clear. @fruityp3ach02.bsky.social convinced me to play it before Revival cause of the timing of the release being near the new XIV expansion and I gotta say it was way better than I expected. I think I still like P3R more overall but there's plenty to love about P4. 9/10 great time
Including it because why not, but not really a 'completion' of a game. Hit level 30 on my Skitarii in Darktide and the AdMech are the biggest reason for me having any interest in the 40k universe at all so hype as hell I get to play them now, also bought Mechanicus to play at some point.
Forgot to post that I beat Chapter 5 of Deltarune and Toby Fox continues to put out bangers. The platforming mechanic was such a surprise and I adored it so much. Aqua and Yellow are the best with Green a solid 3rd. 9/10 but please give Susie a home :(
From the pngtuber and checking out his profile he seems to use a fair amount of AI generated content in his branding, does @gamesdonequick.com have a stance on Gen-AI usage anywhere? Or if JC could provide the artist(s) he commissioned to prove it isnt? Id be disappointed to see GDQ okay with AI.
Returning to Wind Waker (in HD this time) was a treat and its still solidified as my favorite Zelda game without question. Still love nearly every bit of it (HD makes the Triforce pieces not suck ass) except for the Wind and Earth temple, using the command medley still isnt that fun, 10/10 though.
Forgot to post it a couple days ago but Mina The Hollower is probably my GOTY unless something super surprises me later because this game was magical. A few gripes about some trinkets that feel like they should be kit upgrades and healing being ungodly slow by default but otherwise its a 10/10 to me
I dont have any fancy screenshots currently but my DRK glam has become my absolute favorite for Ophelia :3 (left) but the 'canon' choice currently is Picto on the right.
Quick revisit of Star Fox Assault, it's a shorter game that you can beat in maybe 2-3 hours but damn if it didnt leave an impression on me as a kid. It's a little jankier than I remember (especially on an emulator without a genuine GC controller), but I still love it dearly. Solid 8/10 in my heart.
Another Souls series reclear? Who saw that coming? Ive always had negative feelings on DS2 and I dog on it a lot, but there's some gold in these mines thankfully. I found myself liking the good parts of the game more than I used to and reinforcing the parts I hate even more, a solid 7/10 for effort.
It's a very innocuous version of this trope but one of my favorite jokes from Barry Kramer's Elden Ring video was the bit of him looking up how to pronounce Mana when explaining the flask system with the flask beetles.
Well hopefully it's some comfort to know that Lunarcon has been some of the best experiences Ive ever had in XIV and will cherish all of those moments dearly and I hope youre able to set something up again int he future. (including some of my screenshots from the first one :3)
I have a lot of feelings on my first full playthrough of Bloodborne so I included me rambling about things I liked and disliked about the game purely based on a solo playthrough which I emulated on PC to play in 60 FPS and have a few QoL mods added in. Right now Im at a 7/10 on it overall.
This was a lot harder than I expected when trying to not get any dupes in there, but Im pretty happy with this (besides the immediate aging that I caused to myself and others by saying Pokemon Emerald is retro lmao)
Rolled credits on Pokopia yesterday. I think it might be my GOTY currently because it's just such a fantastic fun time and gave me that spark I felt that Animal Crossing was missing in New Horizons. As long as you enjoy AC or Dragon Quest Builders and don't hate Pokemon this is a must play. 10/10
Replayed Dark Souls 1 because why not. Still one of my favorite games of all time and is still a real fun time despite its age and the series having advanced so far. The biggest accomplishment is having found my very first Vagrant despite many many runs of the game. 10/10 everyone should play it.
Finished Persona 3 Reload and had an amazing time. It's my first entry into the series and I hope to continue into Persona 4 once the remake for that comes out. Combat was very fun but I wish the grind was cut down a little bit. 10/10, will be in my pantheon of RPGs Ill never forget and cherish.
Finally finished Resident Evil: Requiem and my god what a ride it was. I grew up playing the RE games (especially 2) and this game was a great blend of the survival horror it was built on and the action packed craziness of 4 and 5. Easily in the top 3 best RE games. 9/10 will be playing a lot more.
Managed to make a glam with nearly every slot filled with different job gear on DRK :3 It's one of my favorite I've ever made! #FFXIVSweepstakes #GlamourItUpSweepstakes
Berry Bury Berry was an unexpected treat. I got all the endings in about 5-6 hours and very much enjoyed the ride. Only about 7-8 USD for a solid incremental game that has a good creepy undertone and story if you enjoy being mildly unsettled at all times. 8/10 I hope the dev makes more like it!
I am not done with the new 1.4.5 update for Terraria but Im counting this as the capstone achievement of the new playthrough. I fucking love this game so much and I will never tire of it. 11/10 game and will always stay that way, now for Death mode Calamity when Tmodloader gets updated.
Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven (DLC but Im counting it) Another banger update for a game I love dearly and love to go back to every now and then. Was a bit buggy and messed up a few interactions but nothing game breaking that wasn't solved in a simple reload. Solid 9/10 with more to see hopefully.
For fun, gonna try to do a 'Games Ive completed' thread for 2026 and we're starting off with Twilight Princess (HD). Pretty solid 8/10 that has some issues mostly because of the era it was made in but overall I had a good time and glad to have another Zelda game under my belt. Midna is best girl.
Just wrapped up OG FF7. I get why this is the defacto Final Fantasy that most people think of now cause at the time this so revolutionary and cool. Now the only FF games I have yet to beat are 8, 10 and 12.
Way more than 10 games to get to know me because how can I only choose 10
Id love to have my WoL drawn :D If you need more reference shots let me know!
