Drs Aisling Murray and Francois van Loggerenberg are in Phnom Penh to assist with the planning for qualitative data collection later this week in the sites. Always a pleasure to be with the team! Here’s to a happy and productive week.

Excited to be in Cape Town this week at the Bold Ideas for Brighter Futures conference. Kicking off with a @wellcometrust.bsky.social grant writing workshop. Securing funding is key!
It was great to represent our work yesterday at @qmulresilience.bsky.social parliamentary research reception. We had a poster in the global mental health corner and got to chat to lots of people about our co-adaptation work in Vietnam and Cambodia. @qmul-wiph.bsky.social
Francois moved on to conduct a monitoring visit in Hanoi this week. He conducted file reviews, looking at all the consent and assent forms, and checking a selection of the data forms against the data in REDCap. It is a great opportunity for the team to review what can be done to improve quality.
This week the monitoring visit moves to Hanoi. Some pictures from Hanoi, including mottos on the files that are giving us joy!
Monitoring visits can feel a bit daunting for teams, but hopefully this week with Francois has been a great opportunity to learn about research processes and procedures and to tighten these up for the country teams. Francois certainly enjoyed his time in Phnom Penh. Hanoi next!
