My last patch of snow from the January storm…it is in full sun, has survived multiple days of rain and 50+ temps. I almost feel like I should name it…

We used to live near Robert Duvall, it was neat running into him at the IGA, or at the farm co-op. He was at the restaurant seated next to us when we got engaged, he nodded and quietly said congratulations. In real life, he was quiet and polite, never drawing attention to himself. RIP Duvall 😢
Goal for today is to be able to get vehicle in and out of driveway for the first time in 2+ weeks. Come on Sun, do your thing!!!
Really looking forward to the return of turn lanes throughout Charlottesville this week! (Will also be nice to access my driveway for the first time in 2 weeks!)
Attended the 2026 MLK Community Celebration tonight. First, got to hear my daughter’s choir sing, then heard @imaniperry.bsky.social speak. She is a remarkable human, hearing her speak tonight, witnessing her conviction to speaking truth, seeing her graciousness, it was an amazing experience.
