Still tour de Fleece ing, just haven't been posting my pix. This is eolag 4, nearly done.
TdF accountability, day 12? 13? Still plugging away at rolag #3. Also that cat behind it just turned 18.
TdF accountability day 11? My left hand gets very sweaty while holding the fiber and I worry about felting. This is the 25% blue rolag.
TdF accountability: finished my second rolag today ar lunch! It's on the left in the second pic. This one was ~12% blue/88% black as part of a planned gradient. Next rolag is 25/75.
TdF accountability day (mumble): this is definitely going faster now.
TdF accountability, day six: finished the rolag! Still not sure what it is about my mechanics that makes my bicep cramp so bad. Pretty good work for a union meeting.
TdF accountability post, day five: I'm almost done with this rolag, I think. I can tell I'm making progress because my yarn keeps breaking. Cat provided to confuse the scale.
TdF accountability pics, day four. I am recalling how I gave myself carpal tunnel when I first started spinning. Also got to show off for my boss and a coworker during my lunch when they noticed what I was doing. Left pic is from lunch, right pick is just now.
Tour de Fleece accountability, day 3. (What happened to day 2? Shhh. Shhhhhhh.) I don't know that the fiber sausage looks any smaller or the cop looks any bigger, but trust me, progress is being made. The silk allows me to spin very fine; gravity reminds me not to get too fine with it.
Tour de Fleece accountability post: got started despite some adventures in parenting. I made my own gradient in 50/50 merino and silk and it's spinning up a dream. Forgot how fast my arm starts to hurt from holding it up tho.

The current state of relations between Lucy (bottom right), our senior immigrant cat, and Holly (upper left), a recent addition to the household. Holly approaches, Lucy writhes and performs incantations, Holly says "ok" and moves on.
A fiber arts project that is not knitting? It's more likely than you think!
Another 🧶 FO finally blocked: Icelandscape Shawl in Bad Sheep Yarn - Echo, Starlight, Dr. Jekyll, Dancing Flames, Rooibos Tea, Kennicott, Bonbon and Espresso.
Two recent 🧶 FOs I never posted progress pics for. Blue scarf is VL Scarf by Jennifer Lovett in Bad Sheep Yarns Water (suri lace held double) and Festival of Lights/Big Blue Wet Thing/Chivalry (sock held double and marled). The chevron wrap is the Phoenix Pathways wrap by Becca Carlson in ...
At first, the Midwest could experience all four seasons in one week. Thanks to climate change, we can now experience four seasons in 24 hours. If this keeps up, we soon can expect a double event
Well, that's a pretty personal question, fitted sheet. (Jk, this is the greatest feature ever, all fitted sheets should have labels.)
There is a three holiday pile up happening in the seasonal aisle at Walgreens.
