so after enter the matrix game release, everyone was like . wow this is extremely dope why isnt this multiplayer? ==TS mod. they made all the movie tie-in stuff, then were like. oh fuck we can't illegally make a matrix game we'll get sued-> name change, models&maps still same tho lol AQ/AHL vibes

ts_dojo ==== matrix construct, entire outside of the dojo is pure white construct, doing some barehanded kung fu shit

ts_lobby, the . main dm map, everyone loved this shit lol

large lobby downstairs, elevators to go to the upper area with a side main staircase. roof area drops down into the upper elevator area, gotta jump out a window to the lower roof area (or take small stairs/door up top), small tower on other side of roof with powerup

ts_lobby, upper roof area, glass dropdown into upper elevator area, pictured : tower at opposite side of roof, not pictured: lower outside roof area underneath left side of screen, with glass window to dive out of below the little staircase. puts you on an area with small player-height building to cover you on that roof, leading up to one small stairset at the bottom of the grey vent box. ladder on far side of tower

ranbase.bsp[q1] attractive clanbase map, compact so its fight fight. probs better for 2-8 ppl than 16+ tho xfire2.bsp[hl1] huge fan, probs best dm map? feels like ppl forgot it exists? very open lots of room to work w bolts, direct rpgs etc etc +shoutout every The Specialists map. idk, solid flow

ranbase.bsp <quake1>, a fairly-compact slipgate complex style map meant for clan dm training probs, limited amount of areas that link to eachother well so you spend a lot of time stalking and fighting instead of searching for kills

xfire2.bsp <halflife1> basically a gigantic box with large open areas, including ruins, bunker stuff, a large building etc. lots of verticality and openness which was sorta missing from hldm maps imo. everyone knows crossfire but xfire2 was another one of those maps that got 24/7 servers bc ppl loved it. lots of places to hunker down and get crossbow kills or do dumb shit with rpg dots

imo plays like a better version of bounce

gonna digress rq (imho ts is the best action fps game to exist, sliding rolling diving flipping, fu/disarming, wall jumps/dives, throwing swords and knives etc etc etc. aq/ahl are fine but ts , thats the good stuff

it's criminally underrated but unfortunately its one of those like GunZ, where the movement tech available to a veterans playing is so so so much compared to a new player its legit like probably what trying to fight neo would be like lmao
