Reused my old hamster carrying cage, for her home. Since she can't fly I think it's okay. I plan on getting her some small plants and I ordered mesh to go around the sides and around the dowls for her to climb and walk on.
The last one emerged yesterday so I now have 5 lil babies!! They are very active and are drinking the sugar water~ I will be releasing all but 1 tomorrow after the rain. The one I am keeping is called Thumper and she unfortunately got her wing caught in her chrysalis and it bent it, she can't fly.
So last week I saved a group of chrysalis from going in the garbage at work. I was able to take them home and see if they make it. THEY DID!!!! 4 of the 5 have emerged and now I have Painted Lady butterflies ~
