Still mega hot here in Gironde 🥵! Took advantage of our communes kindly offering free access to our local pools during the (latest) heatwave. Got there early before the masses arrived & had a good swim - lovely 🏊♀️😎

Bordeaux weather alert - 35° today but not quite canicule weather, my coconut oil hasn't melted yet, it's still solid (ish). I suspect it will happen later in the week....
We have a huge tilleul (that needs a serious hair cut) which doubles as an excellent parasol 🌳

PSA! Verdict is in on our new Fresh (like Grand Frais) supermarket - rather fabulous! Shelves & fridges full (late Sat pm too), lots of local produce 😋. @stutheeditor.bsky.social - maybe you need to try a different one. Could be dangerous for the bank balance 😬
