My husband is doing an air tour from Adelaide up to and over Kati Thanda (lake eyre) today. Quite a few stops - this is the first photo I’ve received. Outside pub at Marree. Look at the blue sky.
Up early this morning and made a batch of muesli bars (unsliced in photo). This recipe is dairy free using olive oil instead of butter. Can also be made nut free. Easy and every day ingredients. House smells fabulous. 🍜🍽️🍇🫒
Dinner tonight was Italian-style meatballs with garlic bread. Very easy recipe where the meatballs cook in the tomato sauce. 🍜🍽️🍅🧀🌿
Just out of the oven Parmesan, pepper & thyme scones. They smell great. Will serve with soup tonight. After experimenting unsuccessfully with another cheese scone recipe, I’ve decided to teach this one at upcoming baking classes. 🍜🍽️🧀🌿🥚🥛

Mary Berry’s lemon drizzle cake made with my neighbour’s homegrown lemons, just out of the oven. Need to wait for it to cool before cutting. Smells fabulous. 🍽️🍜🍋

First baking fail of the day RecipeTin Eats cheese scones. Followed the recipe to a T, but they were too wet and they didn’t rise. Ho hum. Testing recipes for teaching. Not sure I’ll try this one again. At least they smell and taste good. 🍽️🍜🧀
The article absolutely lets her off. Her racket didn’t fly into the stands - she chucked it. Her response “shit happens you learn a lesson”.

Peri needs her posse @misterbailey.bsky.social @nikosaus.bsky.social. A big floof with a topknot had a go at her this morning in the park. Don’t think it connected but Peri squealed like a bunch of 15 year old girls. Poor poppet.
I’m currently in Sydney and I’d suggested my husband try making these oat, almond & sesame biscuits. I don’t think he’s ever baked biscuits before. Wow I’m so impressed. 🍽️🍪

In the latest episode of things my husband didn’t mention. He’s replaced a part in the showerhead that the plumber removed last week. The plumber showed him how to fit it! What could possibly go wrong?

We think she ate a bee, ate grass, threw up but then wouldn’t eat her dinner - even chicken. She whimpered when we picked her up and was trembled. Miraculously she improved when we got to the emergency vet & ate their stinky dog food. She also swamped the vet nurse with kisses. She’s fine today.
