Nearly 25 hours played, 77% completion rate; cleared Mina the Hollower. Holy fuck what a literal 10/10 video game. I love it so much and it's going to be so difficult for anything to be better than this game this year. @yachtclubgames.bsky.social have made a literal masterpiece. Thank you so much.
Regardless of your feelings towards Call of Duty, Microsoft, Activision, any of the above The fact that this is the first actual, real Call of Duty game released on a Nintendo platform since 2013 is fucking MASSIVE and proves that the console's ecosystem is thriving, not just a niche audience.
It still ended up getting a decent chunk of shovelware into its library believe it or not! Lots of licensed games made their way, usually as botched PC ports considering the strength of the hardware but it's the full context of the system's library that makes me love it so much, warts and all

This post is months old (sorry!) but it does make me wonder if the Mega Drive and SNK's NEO GEO arcade platform had influence on the Super Famicom's button labels. Early prototypes of the control pad actually have it labeled ABCD, and the changes came later!
