And here's everything I brought with me in those 2 banker's boxes, mostly back in their original boxes except a few where I've stuck the original in a closet and they live in their rebox. Note that's 4 piles total, each about as tall as a banker's box is long.
Here's what was in that tightly-packed stack on the end of the liddable banker's box. (Having one that closes properly makes them easier to stack in the trunk)
As I continue the great game unreboxing, here are the two banker's boxes of games I took with me to camp. (The hole in the "tall" box contained Winter Rabbit and Mystic Curling Club; I put them away before getting the photo but you get the idea)
Why I rebox games for travel in a simple photo. (New boxes this year: pizza boxes with address labels)
My spouse's co-workers won't go to this Market Basket because it's too crowded. This is what it was like at noon on Friday, July 3. Checkout was also fully staffed, no more than 1 person lines. A very pleasant shopping experience.
Here's approximately what I'm thinking. You have two wedge-shaped gaps which could be pretty small if you can get the geometry right, and you could design the part that goes out to receive and cup the window (adding support). You also have a straight vertical gap but that part is easy.
“Forget sharing the last picture you saved, I want to see the very first picture on your phone. Scroll back until your fingers bleed.” This photo from 2011 of tchotchkes on Grandma's mantle. The magenta glass cats and ashtray change color depending on the light source.
Ok what in the Tumblresque hell is wrong with you people? My comment now has more likes than the thing I was saying deserves more likes.
Coire is now instead hiding in the place I expected (and wanted) her to be today.
I need to adjust my time management practices to account for the fact that Coire fairly often decides, accurately, cuddling with her is more important than whatever I'm doing on my computer.
This is my baby Bhreacain. Despite his vacant expression he's curious, quite intelligent, and very friendly to strangers. He can also casually look at what you're doing on the counter.
Everything sucks right now but we need to remember there are beautiful things in the world and reasons to stick around another day, week, month, year. In that interest, if you see this, post a perfect album by a band that only made one. Mine is:
Goat down! This is not a drill! @gavlebocken.bsky.social has collapsed under a strong wind.
It's his second Christmas here, but Bhreacain is the most important thing under the tree.
