Some ppl literally hate the progressives more than they do trumpers, while holding the left to a double standard. Like if a progressive coded candidate did this in a race for highly valued seat that was in a dead heat it would be a huge scandal, but as it stands very little criticism about this

The Dallas congresswoman, Talarico's erstwhile rival in the Democratic primary, has yet to say whether she'll campaign for him in the general election against Republican Ken Paxton.

Crockett recently told The Dallas Morning News she has "no idea" whether she'll actively campaign for Talarico. She previously told KERA News, before the Democratic primary in early March, she would "absolutely" campaign for Talarico if he won the nomination. KERA reported that, according to Talarico's campaign, he left a message for Crockett suggesting she could deliver the convention's keynote speech.

This is just a man desperate to hold on to not unsubstantial political relevance and not someone who studies and talks about politics because he cares about ppl. Many experts on authoritarianism have stated you need a broad ass tent to defeat it, dos this ideology help or deflate that tent?

This is why ultimately Common Sense needs to be a longer game play - need to acknowledge that we have in some sense already lost the argument, stop pretending we have any clout with the powers that be, and prepare for counter-insurgency against the incoming regime.

I live in the permian basin in Texas. There are a lot of voters out here who would vote for a sane, normal democrat. The DSA stuff won't fly out here. That's how you end up with Senator Paxton.

Whatever the final figure, the amount of government cash support pumped into the fossil fuel system this year will be running close to the amount that both public and private inventors were prepared to invest in it. It's an extraordinary situation for an industry that claims to be governed by capitalist laws of supply and demand, rather than statist central planning.
